side effects of l-arginine?

what are they?

can you take too much?

does it disturb your liver?

i haven't read much negative about this stuff, but I'm sure somewhere it is out there... what is it?

  1. There are VERY few side effects or drug interactions (do NOT take within a few hours of taking l-lysine as they negate each other), and there are a tremendous number of benefits associated with using a high-quality l-arginine supplement. L-arginine works best when taken in liquid form at least 1/2 hour before or after eating.

  2. wow. good information, Linda. I take it in pill form -- 1-2 in the morning with breakfast and 1-2 at night-time post-workout with protein (yogurt) and fruit juice.
